Singer Shoko Nakagawa Participates as Key Animator on Final Pokémon Sun & Moon Episode

Voice actress and singer Shōko Nakagawa is credited as a key animator on the 146th and final episode of the Pokémon Sun & Moon television anime series, which debuted on Sunday. She uploaded a sample of her drawings to Twitter:

Nakagawa also performed the ending theme song "Type: Wild" for the series. In her tweet, she asked fans to look out for both her singing and her key animation credit.
Nakagawa has guest starred in 12 consecutive Pokémon anime films, including last year's film, Pokémon the Movie: The Power of Us. She is also the host of Pokémon Sunday. Nakagawa is a talented artist who regularly draws comics and fan art. She spoke with ANN about her love for the Pokémon franchise in an interview last year.
The Pokémon Sun & Moon anime series premiered on TV Tokyo and its affiliated stations in Japan in November 2016. The show, under the title Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon, premiered in the United States on Disney XD in May 2017. Although the show is known under just one title in Japan, its U.S. airings have several titles. Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Adventures premiered on Disney XD in March 2018, and Pokémon the Series: Sun & Moon—Ultra Legends premiered on Disney XD on March 23.
