Paris Hilton Tries On Sailor Moon's Costume in Twitter Pic

Socialite, singer, and reality TV star Paris Hilton posted an edited photo of herself and her chihuahua Diamond Baby as heroine Sailor Moon and side-pet Luna on Twitter on Tuesday. Hilton's take on the anime heroine is full of glitz and skin, replacing Sailor Moon's full top with a very large red bow and her skirt with a sparkly bikini bottom. Hilton's photo is set to her 2006 song "Stars Are Blind" and includes a poetic quote, "She was the type of girl the Moon chased and the stars wished for...." The line aptly describes Sailor Moon herself, but Hilton has quoted it before in her selfie photos.

Anime is definitely in vogue with A-list stars and top athletes professing their love for the medium. Kanye and Kim Kardashian West are both fans. Kanye has credited Akira as one of the best anime of all time and Kardashian West went pink last year after tuning into DARLING in the FRANXX. Dragon Ball is a big favorite among athletes and hip-hop artists like track star Noah Lyles and musical artist and actor Jaden Smith.
