Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Gekitotsu! Duel Carnival 3DS Game Revealed
posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
This year's September issue of Shueisha's V Jump magazine is revealing on Saturday that Konami is developing a new Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal video game for the Nintendo 3DS handheld console titled Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal Gekitotsu! Duel Carnival. The announcement for the game advertises it as the first classical duel simulator game for the Nintendo 3DS. The game is designed to provide a genuine dueling experience similar to the original Yu-Gi-Oh! trading card game.
The competitive card game will include at least 5,500 cards that players can use to construct their decks to duel. The cards will include monsters from the Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal anime and the latest powerful cards. Players will be able to choose one of more than 40 characters from Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal to play as the protagonist, and each protagonist will have a story for players to advance through.
The game is slated to ship in Japan this winter.
