posted on by Sarah Nelkin
The official website for the LAWSON chain of Japanese convenience stores is holding a collaboration campaign with Namco Bandai Games' Tales of Xillia 2 role-playing game until Monday.
Customers who buy specific products will be able to enter codes printed on their receipt to accumulate points that can be used to enter drawings for Tales of Xillia 2 goods. Among the items given away are a rough illustration of Milla Maxwell signed by artist Mutsumi Inomata, a rough illustration of Jude Mathis signed by artist Kousuke Fujishima, three scripts signed by the voice cast of the game, and five posters signed by Inomata and Fujishima.
The winners of these grand prizes will get to attend a ceremony in which character voices Takashi Kondō (Ludgar) and Mariya Ise (Elle) will hand out the prizes in person. The lesser prizes include digital goods for the GREE Tales of Card Evolve mobile phone game and Tales of Xillia 2 clear folders.
Tales of Xillia 2 was released in Japan on November 1, and is also currently doing a collaboration with Namco's NAMJATOWN. In-game DLC collaborations with other franchises include Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Code Geass, with character costumes and "attachment" accessories for the game.
