PS Vita Street Fighter x Tekken's 3rd Cinematic Short Streamed
posted on by Kimberly Grace
The Gamespot website began streaming the third part of the Street Fighter X Tekken PlayStation Vita game's cinematic short on Wednesday. The 12-minute video continues the story from the game's second cinematic video and features the main characters from the Street Fighter and Tekken fighting game franchises.
The official CAPCOM Unity website also posted a two-minute English-language features trailer on Wednesday. Among other features, players will be able to broadcast their character customizations, pick up customized designs, and battle nearby rivals with the Adhoc Fight Request Feature.
CAPCOM will release the PlayStation Vita version of Street Fighter X Tekken this fall. The developer revealed last month that the new version will introduce touch controls as well as local and Wi-Fi multiplayer modes plus Near functionality.
The release will include 12 extra characters not yet available on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions. The Street Fighter characters Elena, Guy, Cody, Sakura, Dudley, and Blanka and the Tekken characters Alisa, Christie, Jack, Bryan, Lars, and Lei will be available in the PlayStation Vita game.
CAPCOM announced in January that the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions of the game will include Mega Man, Pac-Man, Infamous protagonist Cole, and the PlayStation mascot cats Kuro and Toro.
Street Fighter X Tekken shipped for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles in Japan, North America, and Europe in March.
