Virtual Fighter's Akira Enters the Stage in Dead or Alive 5

The 4Gamer website began streaming the latest gameplay movie from Team Ninja and Tecmo KOEI's fighting game Dead or Alive 5 on Monday. The video begins with a fight between Kasumi and Ayane on a free-floating raft in the "Flow" Stage. After that bout, a new challenger, Akira from Sega's Virtual Fighter franchise, enters the stage.

The Official Xbox Magazine also posted a video about the game with Team Ninja's game director Yohei Shimbori:

The game will ship for the PlayStation3 and Xbox 360 consoles later this year.
