Happy Valentine's Day — Anime Style (Part I)

In Japan, it's customary for women to give chocolates to men on Valentine's Day, and men return the favor on White Day (March 14). Below are some images that anime and manga fans — both women and men — across Japan and overseas have posted to celebrate Valentine's Day. The images below include anime-inspired homemade chocolates and other sweets, as well as pictures of Valentine's Day chocolates, cakes, sweets, and other items fans are presenting to their favorite anime and manga characters.
The Japanese portal site Cobs Online and the Japanese music distributor Recochoku have both recently posted results of a survey of the anime and manga characters that people want to give chocolates to, and receive chocolates from.
