Metal Gear's 'The Truth Behind RISING' Video Posted

The game publisher Konami began streaming the 25-minute "The Truth Behind RISING" video with English subtitles on Tuesday. The interview video includes commentary from Metal Gear designer Hideo Kojima, Platinum Games producer Atsushi Inaba, and Kojima Productions team members on the creation process for the upcoming Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance action game.

Konami began streaming the website version of the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance trailer on Monday. The game was previously titled Metal Gear Solid: Rising, and an 184-second version of the trailer was posted before game's planned unveiling at Spike TV's Video Game Awards on Saturday evening. According to the trailer, Platinum Games (Bayonetta) is developing the project in collaboration with Kojima Productions (the company of Metal Gear Solid creator Kojima).

Also on Monday, Kojima went on Twitter to deny rumors that Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is the "true sequel" to Metal Gear Solid 4. He emphasized that the title change to "Metal Gear Rising" indicates that this game is not part of the Metal Gear Solid series.
