Ni no Kuni PS3 Game's TV Ads Streamed

Developer Level 5 began streaming two 15-second television commercials for the PS3 game Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joō on Wednesday. The role-playing adventure game features animation by Studio Ghibli, and it is a companion to the Nintendo DS game Ni no Kuni: Shikkoku no Madōshi, which shipped last December. In both versions, Ni no Kuni follows a boy who can move from his home world to the world of "Ni no Kuni" via a magical book.

Several other promotional videos for the PlayStation 3 game began streaming since last year. Ni no Kuni: Shiroki Seihai no Joō will ship in Japan on November 17 for the retail price of 8,800 yen (about US$114), and an English release will follow in early 2012.
