Chorus Women's Manga Magazine to Relaunch as Cocohana
posted on by Egan Loo
The October issue of Shueisha's women's manga magazine Chorus is announcing on Saturday that the magazine will relaunch under the new name Cocohana on November 28. The title is derived from the phrase "Kokoro ni Hana o," and Shueisha is promoting the relaunched magazine as a "shōjo magazine for adults."
The combined November/December issue of Chorus — the final issue under the old title — will bundle a "Cocohana Issue 0" booklet with the new magazine's lineup and other details.
Chorus launched in 1992 as a spinoff of The Margaret magazine. Some of the manga titles that Chorus has published are Wataru Yoshizumi's Cherish, Chika Umino's Honey and Clover, Akiko Higashimura's Mama wa Tenparist, Yukari Ichijō's Pride, Toriko Chiya's Clover, and Minami Ozaki's Bronze: Zetsuai Gaidan Kaendan-Shō -Tenshi Kōtan-.
