posted on by Crystalyn Hodgkins
At the "GungHo Festival 2011" event held in Tokyo on Saturday, GungHo Online Entertainment (Ragnarok Online) announced it is collaborating with the makers of the Puella Magi Madoka Magica television anime on its online third-person shooter game, Toy Wars. The game is set in the room of a high school club dedicated to figures. Unbeknownst to the club members, their action figures wage secret battles after school when the humans are gone. The game is known as H.A.V.E. Online in the original Korean, and MicroVolts in English.
Information on which characters will be available as costumes for players' avatars will be made at a later date.
The festival also announced that the game will also be adding more Strike Witches characters as avatars. The characters Sanya V. Litvyak, Erica Hartmann, Lynette Bishop and Mio Sakamoto will be available as costumes in the game soon.
Last year the game collaborated with makers of the anime film The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya to make the characters Haruhi Suzumiya, Yuki Nagato and Mikuru Asahina available as costumes in the game.
