An unnamed cosplayer portrays Usagi Tsukino (Serena), the protagonist from Sailor Moon. The series originated as a manga created by Naoko Takeuchi in 1992 and was adapted into an anime that same year. The magical girl story revolves around a clumsy but well-meaning young woman who transforms into Sailor Moon to fight evil forces and protect the world.
The photo was taken at the 2010 Deutsche Cosplay Meisterschaft championship in Frankfurt, a part of the Frankfurter Buchmesse (Frankfurt Book Fair).
