 In the year 1863, the Civil War was raging. Though the battle lines were far from Boston, many families were ripped apart. The March family was no exception. Jo, an outspoken and aspiring writer, kept the family in stitches. Beth, the budding pianist, her her mother's sweetness and Meg, the oldest and most responsible, claimed her mother's beauty. He was also blessed with a wonder wife, Marmee, the loving mother who held the family together. She taught all of her daughters the value of family...togetherness. Unfortunately, the family togetherness was not possible this holiday. The war took the man of the family far away, so it was up to the girls to celebrate a little women's Christmas.
