The face expressions are brilliant! Theme song is nice too. I think this could be a rare gem comedy for Winter.

I am so excited for this one. The manga is brilliant fun and the focus on candy and other sweet treats is great.
I'm also absolutely in love with Hotaru. She's such a great female lead, and hearing that Ayana Taketatsu is going to be voicing her has me super excited to be watching this one.
She was great in Denki Gai as Fu Girl, so I'm looking forward to another great comedy performance from her.
Other than that, this preview was appealing and gave me an extensive look at how they're adapting the manga's art style. And seeing as this isn't part of the "short" anime collection on AniChart, I'm hoping that this will be kind of like Daily Lives of High School Boys with a collection of shorts per episode. It would make me so happy if that was the case!

Nice song and Fujiwara Keiji as Kokonotsu dad will make this anime super funny. I love his humor performance.

Those eyes, what were they thinking? "Sugar as drug addiction"? I've already decided to watch it yet I still have no idea why it's getting a broadcast dub.
Sure, it's another entry in the "Funimation owns comedy" line but it's bit more niche than something like D-Frag, more like the one they licensed about the guy doing calligraphy... set in rural Japan... with a cast of oddballs...
Why am I getting a sense of deja vu? Ok, it could have a bit more romance- like some- or maybe they're just trading up on the age scale from middle to high school just to up the creep factor from "Uh..." to "Plausible?".
Oh well, WAFO I guess. I mean, it's Japan, I wouldn't lose money betting either way...

Seriously. French flag + Pisa Tower = Geography fail
But who cares, Ayacchi is voicing!
Ah, dang it, Funi is subbing. *cough* I prefer surname-name *cough*

Not sure why I find these character designs so appealing. By all rights, they are just weird. Too big eyes, too skinny figures, and they look a little sickly even. Yet, for some reason I love them. The ear rings for the blonde girl are a really nice touch too.

Some of those character designs. I can't stop thinking:
Kokonotsu = Hachiman (SNAFU)
Saya = Kirino (OreImo)
Tō Endō = Meme Oshino (Monogatari)

The characters designs are strange ( they look totally strung out) but they look a lot better in motion. Plus, the show looks like a lot of fun.

Funny how a studio made up of ex-Studio Pierrot members have been adapting manga with only 3 volumes recently.
The staff literally went from rushing and making stupid decisions to making there own studio, where they adapt 3 volumes into 12 episodes and add loads of original content to compliment the already brilliant original material.... talk about change.
Read the first 4 chapters of this, the manga is only 11 pages per chapter, but the amount of room to make quality original material to fill in the gaps is high.
Atm this is looking to be the best anime of the season for me. I hate talking about adaptations because I believe being a good anime is much more important, but this might be an adaptation worth seeing. Really excited

Will Crunchyroll be streaming this or only Funimation? I'm already a premium member with Crunchyroll, and I'd prefer to not have to bother with making a Funimation streaming account.

It's usually "either". I've not seen both streaming at the same time.

These days, there are actually a decent number of shared simulcasts. Gundam, Asterisk War, One Piece, Fairy Tail, Durarara, Erased, etc. And that only seems to be becoming more common. I wouldn't be surprised if a few of the Funi announcements for this season show up elsewhere. Not sure about Dagashikashi, specifically, though.
