Once I saw 10 episodes, I knew there would be an OVA. Like with Date A Live recently.

Oh wow for real? That's a shame. I suppose it's technically only 1 episode less, but, honestly I was hoping for like 20 episodes.
Well either way I'm still pretty pumped for this, despite the art style that shouldn't have been used. |

10 episodes? That's... quite low for an adaptation of a series running (supposedly without hiatuses) from 2009

Yeah, they really should have picked an artists who'd stick like crazy glue to Inazuma's originals designs instead of trying to impart his own style onto it. I like Akio Takami most of the time, but he was the wrong choice here. It'd be like asking him to adapt Raita designs; just no. |

Disappointed with this, at least there won't likely be any filler and it should end at a good point.
On the other hand it'll be cheaper for me to buy the BDs when they come out. There's always a silver lining. |

If it ends at a relatively satisfying point I'll be happy even with the 10-11 episodes. I have to agree with the others that they shouldn't have chosen Akio Takami for the character designs... oh well, they don't look as bad as some of his other works.
