Too bad the limit is for only first 100 people to sign up.
Edit: Oh nice! He's signing stuff at Barnes and Noble the next day as well. Still first 100 limit but I think it will be more of a first come thing... hopefully Last edited by GundamZX on Sat Oct 04, 2014 5:45 pm; edited 1 time in total |

When I went to the signing at Kinokuniya for Masakasu Katsura during NYCC 2 years ago, you were encouraged to buy stuff from Kinokuniya's products, but you were allowed to bring your own. |

I don't know if they have hit their limit but you have to RSVP for this signing (thankfully, no con ticket necessary)
Yeah! Mine is the 11th...the super con in my city can't come at a better time. |

Awesome, I'm going to try my best to get there, all the way from where I am in Philadelphia. I hope I'm one of the first 100 thank you very much for the link. Have a wonderful birthday friend. ^-^ |

It's not part of the NYCC, but it's part of NY Super Week, run by the same people (Reed Co.). And ya get a discount with your NY Super Week card that comes with your NYCC VIP (though in Obata's case, tickets are free). |

Just got my invite!!!!
I work a block away. To answer bleachjoj question - Do I need to buy one there or can I bring my own book from Obata? I'm planing to go to Kinokuniya during my lunch break, so I will ask the workers what are the requirements for the signing this Friday. |

Please do I want to know too. I want to know if I can bring a Bakuman book of my own. I wonder if we have to purchase something first. oh and to specify may I ask if you can conform that this bookstore is not anywhere near the barnes and noble (signing the next day) or the convention center? Is it far from there? |

So I went and asked a few workers and they have no clue how the whole thing is going to be set up. They did say just bring your owe book just incase but you will need to buy something from there. Barnes and Noble is no way near Kinokuniya. You can take the train, and that will be faster. I wouldn't walk there. https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Kinokuniya+Bookstore,+1073+Avenue+of+the+Americas,+New+York,+NY+10018/Barnes+%26+Noble+-+Tribeca,+97+Warren+St,+New+York,+NY+10007/@40.7345307,-74.0167224,14z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m14!4m13!1m5!1m1!1s0x89c258fec061409f:0x6d8bd3ee0d399c4d!2m2!1d-73.985013!2d40.754048!1m5!1m1!1s0x89c25a1eb13768f3:0xa2b1c04481cc7ec6!2m2!1d-74.011689!2d40.715655!3e2[/quote] |

Got my invite as well. Anyone know if they have extra books in stock for these kind of events? I stopped by yesterday and only saw 1 copy of Death Note black edition and I was hoping to get that volume signed.
