Yeah!! I don't mind the digital edition, but there's just something special about having a print edition.

It's nice to see another WSJ title going to print. I'm enjoying reading it as it comes out, but probably won't pick it up any time soon.
I'd really like to see the other WSJ that premiered shortly before this series, One Punch Man get a print version. Now that I'd love to get in my hands so I could flip through those quick animated action scenes.

The graphic novels of OPM don't have those action sequences. They're severely edited down to a few panels.

So this is how the Jaegers really started...........

World Trigger is super generic 'teens with powers' fare, that obsesses a little too much with 'Ranks' and unique weapon specialization. Its the kind of pseudo-militaristic action nonsense that gets regurgitated in the manga/anime scene a lot.
But my GOD. Has it grown on me over last year. Its not brilliant by any means, but has a sense of fun to it. And even a twist of brutality (so many bloodlessly dismembered teenagers.) And the art is generally pretty good, and now that the neighbors have been given a voice instead of being a bunch of less then exciting designed monsters, the conflict itself has gotten kind of interesting.
I won't be getting the print editions (digital only for me) but I would say its a series worth checking out. Even if it takes a few volumes to really hit its stride.

The series was up to chapter 21 when I started my Jump subscription, so I've only read chapter 1 in the WSJ preview Viz have, it seemed interesting, so I'll probably pick up the first few volumes to fill in that gap so I can follow it in Jump.

I'd agree somewhat. The series has potential, but I still feel like something is holding it back though.
