well if it's for manga style, while we could get the same quality or even more maybe less but surely cheaper by hunting in deviantart or pixiv, but the name of the one drawing is... but well that depends on why you want/need a drawing

Woah that price.Like gilg4mesh said you can probably find something cheaper online.I guess people with money will do it or die hard fans of the artist.

If you go on Shintaro Kago's personal site he offers portrait commissions with overseas shipping for $50 an illustration. It's not surprising for art buyers to pay a lot for what they receive because they usually pay how much they think it's worth. If I had the cash I'd definately be willing to pay that much from a guy like Furuya, he does paintings and did traditional work before getting into manga so it's not like he's one-trick.
