I was awed by their voices when I heard their demo song.
I look forward to Anon & Kanon's debut, which isn't far from now...

That's intentionally part of the sound bank design and artist production though, similar to auto-tune and vocoder effects. For different vocaloid examples check out Maika:

But we already have twins...What about Len & Rin?

(And what annoys most non-fans about Miku is what they think is the "robotic" vocoding of her voice as opposed to the others--
This one, though, sounds wayyy too American, since every single darn Spears/Cyrus pop singer over HERE feels they have to vocode every last bit of human organic quality out of their voices to make a pop hit...
Which might raise some questions about subconscious images of modern teens' ability to humanly interact anymore, but that's a completely different discussion.)

New twin Vocaloids, huh? I thought we already got the twins part covered with Rin and Len but the more the merrier, I suppose.

Can't say I am completely amazed by their demo but they do sound nice.

It's just an autotune effect. This composer has always specialized in dance music, so he uses autotune in all his songs for stylistic purposes. They will definitely not sound like this all the time.

I like their sound, a bit of a similarity to what blending Miku's and Luka's voice might be like. V3 potential is quite an improvement over V2 without making it sound too human. It's those imperfections of artificiality that make the effect so enjoyable.

You can't really say Rin and Len had the market cornered in the twins department. Their concept was born more out of the idea of having a male and female vocaloid duo generated from the same voice bank, they just happened to be twins because they wanted to make them look identical (but still different since they were the opposite sex).

We just laugh that people who used to make fun of autotune, then the Vocaloids come out, now they're fine with it. Laughing
