The split second of seeing "Attack on Titan" "2nd anime" and then seeing "DVD" right after is an emotional roller coaster you can only relate to through experiencing it yourself.

I relate to this post on a spiritual level.

But, anyway, cool to see more content.

The first original anime DVD will now ship with the 12th manga volume next month and adapt "Ilse no Techō" (Ilse's Journal), the prologue side story about a training corps member.

Ilse's a Survey Corp member, not Training Corp.

this is actually very cool, but this also means we can't expect a second season this fall, otherwise they would have announced it already and together with this special, this second OVA is just to 'calm' us down.

I know there isn't enough material for a second season, but I was kinda hoping they would do a 12-episode season. since the anime ended Isamaya wrote 18 chapters, thats enough for 12 episodes, but seems they are going for the 25.

I think it's a bit early to say anything about the Fall 2014 season.

They rushed through the material they had especially in the early episodes they took no liberty of slowing it down
don't matter though it's more a matter of when we get it more then if we get it.

Here I was thinking it was that girl who died like a minute into the first battle. The one who looked vaguely like Mikasa.

They desperately need to rename this Attack on Dragon.

Drag-on.

Get it? Aha, aahhaa.

But yeah, that's all I remember after episode 2.
