I LOVE Ai Shite Night, but I wonder if they'll commit to setting the story in the early 80s or try to modernize it? Part of what makes it so cute is the crazy 80s glam rock flair!
And fun fact: this won't be the first time someone's tried to do Ai Shite Night in live action-- in Italy there was a live-action version called Love Me Licia! (Followed by several other "Licia" sequel series.) It's super weird-- but maybe this new version will top it? |

And also I hope this live-action show get picked up by Dramafever, and stream on both DF and Hulu just like Itazura Na Kiss. I want to see more J-dramas on streaming sites. |

Isn't this what happened to Aya Hirano? They should get her to star in this. It would probably re propel her career if she embraces the controversy.
