To quote the Starcraft 2 trailer, "Hell, it's about time."
I will now prepare my arm and leg since my wallet has taken enough hits.

I am afraid what this will cost but I do want this if only for all the Waver/Rider stuff.

Interesting. Obviously I'd prefer a normally priced release but if we could even get something in the realm of sanity I might just buy it since we're not being denied a BD and dub (unlike most of their other cheaper releases).

I wonder if they will offer any special deal to those who spent the insane $700 to own the series already, it would kind of be a slap in the face if they don't. Its like "hey there thanks for spending $700 for our overpriced boxset, by the way the product was not finished cause we had a dub coming along down the line but nobody really knew that so we would love to take your money again". I wonder how much this one will cost.

No, because that would make sense.
And this is Aniplex of America we're talking about.

Why should Aniplex offer a refund to collectors who wanted to get the import?
I'll be interested in seeing if the release is like SAO or more like Bakemonogatari. Whatever the cost it will be worth ever penny for me on DVD(I'm pretty sure I'll be able to afford the DVD release). If I can afford the BD release, then I'll get that.

I have the imports already, but I'll be looking forward to this release all the same.
Although... I must admit having the imports will put it a little further down my priority list.

I've defended - and will continue to defend - AoA's pricing structure. But I will not defend this. Releasing a dubbed version now is a slap in the face to those loyal fans who bought the original release.

You act as if this is the first time they've done this. *cough*BlueExorcist*cough*

I'm extremely pleased about this. I wanted this series a lot but just couldn't justify paying the import price. If I had to guess, I think the price will be similar to the SAO BD/DVD prices: 4 sets with each splashy BD set around $90 each and each more regular DVD set around $40 (both prices at the TRSI discount level, not MSRP).

I think the people who bought the original release are the crazies who want all the stuff that Japan gets, and they must have it, regardless of whether it's dubbed or not.
No, I won't believe anything other than that.
