Jeez, Sentai, licensing binge much? I mean, not that I'm complaining. The more the merrier, I say.

My only problem with this to me is that Sentai doesn't release impressive box sets.

Please, Sentai Filmworks, just stahp licensing newer anime, back-peddle, and license some of the "older" anime like Dog Days series, Nahona series, and Zero no Tsukaima Season 1-3?

There's tons of anime Sentai would have randomly grabbed up if they were licensing like this only a few years ago, like Manyuu Hikenchou and Ladies Versus Butlers. This only really started these binges sometime last year, right? They could go back and dig out like another 100 anime easily.

Personally, I would've preferred it if FUNi had picked this up, but.... eh, Sentai's fine I guess.

I hope they pick out a decent voice actress for Tomoko.

They have said they were working on the earlier ZnT series.

I've almost given up hope of anyone licensing StrikerS. Has anything done by Seven Arcs been iicensed in the west except the two Sekirei series?

At least with the movies, the Japanese discs include English subtitles.

That reminds me, Inukami would be a great pick up.

Doesn't look like it. There have been plenty of anime licensed that Seven Arcs took part in - 2nd Key Animation, Animation Cooperation, In-Between Animation, et.c. If I'm looking at the list on ANN correctly, the following anime are the ones in which they were the main production company:

Asura Cryin'
Asura Cryin' 2
Dog Days
Dog Days'
Inukami
Inukami the Movie
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha A's
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 1st
Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The Movie 2nd A's
Sekirei
Sekirei: Pure Engagement
Triangle Heart: Sweet Songs Forever
White Album

Hmmm. Looks like Sekirei was the only series that made it to America (in physical format anyway. Dog Days and Asura Cryin' are only being streamed for the time being by Crunchyroll). Of all those, I personally believe Dog Days would be the series with the highest probably of being licensed for NA distribution mainly because it's newer. That's just me though, and I most certainly could be proven wrong.

The problem with the Nanoha license is that it is a victim of its own success (Japan side anyways)and simply the studio's fear of reverse importing of the otherwise pricy blurays prevent Nanoha releases from becoming a reality outside of Japan.

I'm kinda on the fence in predicting whether Watamote will be DVD-only or not. Usually it is for Sentai with this genre. I wish NISA had gotten it instead so at least we'll be guaranteed BDs.
