Why?

1. Its not that hard to get in either singles, or a box set.

2. Its not that good, its one of those shows that was licensed because thats all they had.

3. There are glut of new mech shows, who is going to watch this?

4. The show is close to decade old?

Why is sentai wasting resources on this, when there are still some good properties out there unlicensed.

1. Yes, the show's licensed in Australia & New Zealand, but not in the U.S.
2. Your opinion, irrelevant.
3. The fans of the show.
4. Are you perhaps new to this whole licensing business?

I wonder if they got it cheap because previously the license was with ADV... so maybe they have an inside track...

I'm guessin' it's a cheap one in any case. I was intrigued years ago about it, but an aweful lot of water has gone under the bridge since then.

as for current availability... it's all over the place, it's just the old stock. I suppose if S23 prices it well, maybe... But it is 10 years old, so well=cheap.

I doubt if there is much downside for them, if they got it cheap. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ it's an odd buy.

ETA. huh. used the word cheap there a lot. guess I'm betraying my feelings, eh?

ADV rescues an ADV license.

I've got it already, so I don't really care one way or the other. If this makes it easier for someone to buy, then it's good, I guess.

This series has one of the best trailers I've ever seen for any media (live-action or animated) in any country (Japanese or otherwise) in my life. It's freaking amazing. Hollywood could learn a thing or two about selling movies:

Your # 2 - Are you sure it was never licensed in the US? I have it in a box set.

And a partridge in a pear tree.

I love the way the trailer's narrator is clearly having the time of his life. He really sells the show extraordinarily well.

I think it's the type of show you have to be predisposed to, like already being a super robot and fanservice fan. I personally didn't think much of it, I preferred what Gravion was doing instead.
