Hope she recovers soon. She shouldn't try to rush back to work. Her health is far more important

I was thinking the same thing.

Many of Romi Park's roles - which include a lot of boy roles - are like that.

Park does Finn's voice in the Japanese dub of Cartoon Network's Adventure Time, which may turn out to be a long-running animated series.

Similarly, Sayaka Ohara had vocal cord surgery a a couple of months ago.

In contrast to her many soft-spoken, mature women roles, I figure that Ohara's regular role as the strong, powerful Ezra in Fairy Tail - in which she not only has to constantly use a loud, rough-and-tough mature woman speaking voice, but also has to do at times what is unusual for her a little girl voice - played a big part in putting too much strain on her voice.

The scariest part about this is that because of the way the Japanese industry "works", just the fact that she is taking off time could seriously jeopardize her career, even if it is to fix the thing that is the sustenance of her career. And if it were anyone less than her, their career probably wouldn't survive the ordeal.

I hope Romi recovers very soon! I've always been a fan of hers ever since I first heard her as Edward Elric and it would be good for her to take a bit of a break to get a full recovery.
