Oooooh, neat!

Something tells me this won't be a Ghost In The Shell Sequel.

Seems more like an OVA or a movie than a series as well, but still, cool!

While a new GitS *anything* would be awesome, I suspect you're right. Interested to see what he's doing, nonetheless.

I hope his next project isn't a snooze fest.

Wonderful news. Kamiyama is probably the most exciting director working in anime today. I was worried that with this whole ad company thing he's doing that he wouldn't have as much time to direct actual features. Apparently not though.

I'm happy no matter what this project is. I'd love to see a 3rd GIG but it would be equally cool to see another original project. I just hope it's something major any not a little spinoff movie or ova from one of his previous works.

The fact that your own limited attention span prevents you from appreciating his work doesn't make it a "snooze fest".

I'm interested to see what his newest project is as well. Though I doubt it will be GITS related (I don't think we'll see anything new until an anniversary comes up), I wouldn't mind seeing something that has some serious tones to it, which he does quite well.

While I would perform cartwheels at an announcement for '3rd Gig' (3rd Tera?), I'll be happy to hear anything about a new project of his. It's great that he's doing shorts and CMs; they pay the bills and they allow for some winsome creativity. But I need a new anime series to add to my shelf from this guy.

I was extremely impressed by Eden of the East series (haven't seen the movies yet) and so I hope he'll make another original product that's just as great.

Moribito 2!!!

Yeah, THAT would be a snooze-fest, right?

Don't get me wrong; the last few episodes were rather exciting, but that series took a LONG time to get going and didn't offer much action on the way!
