I don't know how often Yen Press does this, but it's strangely awesome how they're seeking submissions of comic art with Yen Plus right when coincidentally in the Bakuman anime spoiler[Mashiro and Takagi just submitted their first one-shot comic to one of the editors at "Shonen Jack."]

I would love to do this is I had enough skills with doing comic art, the exact knowledge, and a good managing of my time and schedule between doing comic art, school work and other things.

Interesting. If only I had the skills to be a comic artist. xD

I would also like to note that I saw on Digital Manga Publishing's website that they are seeking out translators, editors, typsetters, etc. Razz

I don't think we need to worry about that. Yen actually seems to care about manga, and their customers. A refreshing change from what we sometimes get from TP.

I wouldn't hold your hopes up. Businesses are in it to make money, and while they might have this contest in good regards, it's just a way for them to farm new talent.

Hmm this is quite interesting... Too bad I can't draw to save my life... XD

I wonder if Yen Press will do something similar for short-stories or light novels... That would be nice...

O-O~

I would honestly LOVE to participate in this! But my drawing skills are rather amateurish.
