No surprises in this list. On a related note, though it didn't make it very high, Tatami Galaxy added enough DVD&BD sales in the second week to get just shy of 7000 copies sold total. That I think pushes it into the realm of modest success, which for a Yuasa show might as well be a smash hit.

Sigh. The list follows the "tits and cuteness sells" mantra way too close for my comfort. And what's Angel Beats! doing so high?

Good to hear about Tatami Galaxy though. I liked it a lot, so naturally I'm pleased by its relative success.

Everything on this list is moe or ecchi other than FMA Brotherhood and One Piece.

EDIT: And Break Blade I guess. Not sure since I haven't seen it.

But Break Blade is Mecha, which usually does well. Many of the highest-grossing series are Mecha for instance. So because Mecha is in a class of its own, Break Blade doesn't really count.

Although, it does have a beautiful Tsundere female lead and a big-breasted twelve-year-old Moe pilot. So yeah . . . . . .
