Wow I'm extremely impressed with ranking "One Piece" got. Looks like it's the newer material from Japan that sells best.

It really makes me happy to see One Piece so high up. Its sad that Naruto is much more popular than One Piece in the US, but that is just my opinion.

I wonder which The Last Airbender follows more closely, the TV series or the movie? Either way, I think I'll save my money for the day when Johane Matte releases a series.

(Whistles)... wow... that really good for One Piece... I guess it's because it's where One Piece gets really good.

W00t! Ouran's still got it~~~ Congrats! Anime hyper

Sad to see Nana debut so low. I'm on volume 8 and am impressed to death with the series so far. I wonder if it goes bad later on or if this #9 spot is where Nana always ranks. What a shame--more people should give this worthy series a try, even if they don't like shoujo typically.

It's an adaption of the movie. But from what I've heard from my friend that has both seen the movie and read this it is better than the movie.

I can see why Volume 54's doing so well. I stopped buying One Piece after a few volumes, but I just picked it up again at Volume 54 because I heard so many good things about this arc. Smile

Trust me, that comic is not worth it. It follows the movie more than the TV series, to its utmost detriment. If you're planning to buy one of the Airbender mangas, I'd go with the Zuko prequel story. It at least offers coherent art and good dialogue.

I actually don't remember NANA doing so well, and when I usually see its sales I'm always disappointed by all the titles that do better. You're right on the money though, this series is a treasure and I wish more people would give it a chance.

Considering this will be the last volume of NANA we get for a while, I hope everyone savours it!

It all depends on what kind of Airbender fan you are. I didn't like the movie, but I bought this manga and love it. The art is fantastic, and it'll be a nice edition to my little Airbender collection, along with the Zuko prequel.

Surprised at Ouran topping the list. Way to go girl manga... except Stepping on Roses. That manga makes my inner feminist want to commit suicide. It making the list does not help this sentiment.

Four Shojo titles (five if you count "Twilight")! W00T! And NANA is one of them! I really hope Ai Yazawa gets better soon so she can finish her work. NANA really is incredible, no matter where its sales are.

@Vashfanatic: Thanks for the link! Now that I know that there are legitimate Avatar:TLA comics out there (besides the 2 manga-style gns) I have a new little cause. Check this out:

Avatar: The Last Airbender Nickelodeon Comics Trailer

Unfortunately, not all of these comics made it to print in the U.S. after Nick Mag was cancelled. Sad [/url]
