Yes, and it has appeared in numerous manga and anime as a typical "family restaurant" (ファミレス). |

Haha whoa there kids. Guess my expression wasn't clear. I imagine that fast food joints like McDonalds would be there, and I know KFC is popular. I don't know, Denny's just struck me as an odd one to be there. Didn't know that it was popular enough to be all around.

Isn't this some form of copyright infringement?
None the less, I am surprised that there is a Denny's in Japan as well. Then again, I don't live in Japan, so I really don't know what is and isn't there. |

There are actually quite a lot of Denny's locations in Japan.
If you take a look around highly populated areas of Japan on googlemaps there are a lot of Denny's and 7elevens I've seen some of the menus and the food looks a lot different and a lot healthier than the food on the North American menus |

There is, but I think it's called WacDonald's! Unless InuYasha (or maybe it was Project A-Ko?) lied to me... |

No, it's not. But I'm sure somewhere, there's a lawyer who's drooling at the mouth thinking that it is. On topic: That's kind of weird. Though, it would have been entertaining to see the cast of Strawberry Marshmallow there, with plates of food stuck to the windows. Up next: China will implement the characters, which will be damn near identical to the originals, on pamphlets telling school kids to eat more fiber in their diet. Either that, or the next Olympics. |
