Who would want to watch that... rather, I wouldn't want to watch that.
But I still don't get the point of copying K-on and Mr. Despair. That just takes away the little originality the show already had.

How dare they!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My Zetsubou Sensei! was copied. Have there faces melted!!!! People can't get there own Ideas? I hope in the Zetsubou Sensei OVA I hope they Parody the hell out of this stupid looking show.. And its clear that they copied K-ON cause at the end of the Stolen product You hear Yui say mugi. Zetsubou Sensei has the greatest openings ever and these Douechbags just couldn't pass it up. I hope Kyoto Animation and SHAFT sue the hell out of these guys.

Having not gotten into either of these anime titles, I will say that accusations of copying it should be taken seriously to the fans that are. That is, they should be upset about it. If I had an anime I liked and found a show that allegedly copied from it, I would be angry. To those fans, I hope that the creators sue this Taiwanese show.

all I can think is that the mangaka of SZS would have a field day if he where to ever make a joke about this in the manga.

Still why copy two fairly popular animes for a crap opening?

Just watched the comparison on NicoDouga.

Man, is that ever obvious. Hopefully the creators can get some sort of royalties for the use of Cagayake Girls and parts of the opening animation of Ringo Mogire Beam.

that's very sad to hear that in Taiwan there copying anime. didn't another anime get copied in Hong Kong as well?
I actually enjoy K-ON! so it is sad to see that they copied the OP song of the series (guess they thought it was not that big of a deal?).

I remember people made a big deal out of that show for slapping labels on otaku. I bet they actually enjoy the rage and attention they get from anime fans.

Bang Bang Tang's entire existence is to plagiarize. They regularly copy things like J-Pop idol songs by getting their guys to sing them with new lyrics as if they're original songs, since forever. I'm surprised no one's been able to sue their asses off yet.

Huh. Japanese copyright law is a bit different than US copyright law, I believe, though.

Does anyone know if parody is a protected form of speech in Japan?

Yeah, up to a certain extent.
But if you watch shows like Hayate the combat butler, So long Mr. Despair or even the latest Seitokai no Ichizon you'd probably understand just how much you can abuse of other shows.

That was surprisingly blatant. It looks like an exact rip-off of (Zan)SZS and the background music at the start sounds like Cagayake Girls to me.

I've never seen the other show, but, yeah, that's a straight sample from K-On!'s "Cagayake Girls!"

Isn't Taiwan not a signatory of the Berne Convention, meaning copyright violations are kind of rampant, like with Taiwanese bootleg anime CD companies like Son May and Ever Anime?
