Wasn’t on my bingo card, but I won’t complain about more Saint Seiya manga getting licensed.

I mean, Seven Seas' release of Saintia Sho finished up only two years ago, & Ablaze is still (technically) releasing Time Odyssey (though they keep delaying the collected volume of the five issues they've released so far), so it's not wholly unbelievable.
That being said, I can't figure out any logic from Titan that bringing over another Saint Seiya manga in English, after it's known history of constantly bombing in "North of Mexico", makes any financial sense. The only thing I can possible think of is the simple fact that Dark Wing is both technically a reincarnation isekai (so Titan is simply trend hunting) & to my knowledge is a wholly separate tale from anything else Saint Seiya (so it should actually be rather friendly to newcomers, even more so than Saintia Sho).
I mean, as a fan of Masami Kurumada I guess I'll buy Dark Wing's release (as long as Titan Manga have finally stopped being weird & lazy with their translation efforts, after the whole Kamen Rider Kuuga debacle), but I already more or less know how this will end. Also, please (I'm begging companies), give something else from Kurumada a try that isn't Saint Seiya, for once. The man has a literal 2015 manga (Ai no Jidai) that's only one volume long, is essentially nothing like Saint Seiya, comes from the same exact publisher as both Saintia Sho & Dark Wing, and is really damn good.

For a moment I almost allowed myself to be excited and then I saw that no, it’s still not an official license of Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas. I doubt I’ll ever see it in my lifetime. I’ll at least look into this one to see if it’s any good.

I don't mean this in a negative way in the slightest, but I've kind of given up trying to keep track of all the different pieces of Saint Seiya media. I've literally never heard of this manga before.

Yeah, the amount of Saint Seiya spin offs its impressive, I wonder if it's manga IP with more out there.
