I feel like "Here comes Miyama to ruin everyone's day." should be the sub title for this series. Things seem to be going OK? Here come Miyama. A situation that needs diplomacy? Here comes Miyama. Simple school hijinks? Here comes Miyama.

So far I think they're doing a great job adapting the manga. The character designs are on-point, as is the voice acting, and Kirishima is the kind of crazy you can't turn away from while Yoshino is clearly someone you don't want to underestimate and a really compelling female lead.

I'm not sure Yoshino is as sheltered from the family business as you might think. No, she's not directly involved in any of it and trying to live a more or less normal life, but she does knows what kind of people yakuza are, and she's fully aware that she's a yakuza princess.

After watching the 3rd episode (and that was a helluva way to open it ), I think I'm going to need a relationship chart with names and photos to sort out all the groups and family/friend relationships. But there's never a dull moment with this, aside from the character introductions which fly by too fast to process. This is going to be some ride...

The random muff diving opening had me thinking Crunchyroll somehow fucked up and had the wrong anime playing lmao. I was so shocked I had to rewind and watch from the beginning again because I missed dialogue. I wonder if any similar series show a guy brazenly getting head? I can think of a few BL but that’s it.
I quite like Yoshino. She’s smart and tough and has absolutely gorgeous hair. Kirishima and Shoma are both hot with their tattoos. I wonder how this love triangle will play out.

I think that's the first time I've seen you-know-what in a "mainstream" anime. I mean, I read the manga, but I wasn't sure if they would actually keep it in the anime (though I'm trying to remember if the girl was less clothed in the manga).
You have to applaud Kirishima for his honesty, however crazy it makes him sound...talking about the woman he's in love with during a lovemaking session with another girl, slipping into a girls' apartment and watching her sleep because it's the only time he thinks she won't look mad at him, and freely admitting he'd cheat on her if it meant she'd kill him to prove she loves him. He's absolutely bad news, and as sensible as Yoshino is, a part of her just can't help but be interested.
The closest thing Yoshino has to a real father wants to meet Kirishima. I'm sure that will go well.
So...there's definitely more to Yoshinos' dads' death the way Kirishima reacted.
Koji Yusa as Shoma is so weird. Like, I love the guy, but he sounds really out-of-place as someone who is meant to be close to Yoshino's age and a possible love interest. He sounds even less young than he does as Shima in Blue Exorcist. Though funnily enough he and Akira Ishida are actually the same age, though Ishida does a better job sounding younger here.

I think the only anime cunilingus I've seen was a in 91 Days (Also about the mafia!) but you only saw the lady's face in that not the guy so I don't think it count's as on-screen.
Although I did find it funny how Kirishima started going on about his crush to the girl he was currently banging, I really don't like this trope were the male lead fools around even though he doesn't care about the women he sleeps with because of course he only cares for the female lead. Why are you having sex then??? What's the point!?? He doesn't seem to be having fun until he gets to gush about Yoshino!
I liked the uh, breaking in and watching her sleep scene. You think he's gonna do something sexual and instead he just starts braiding her hair like a bored child, I found that funny.
And I liked that Yoshino just full on tried to stab him, good.
I've noticed Yoshino drops her dialect when speaking keigo and I wonder why? Can you not speak politelty in Osakaben? Is it just considered less polite? Does Japan have the same issue we do here in Sweden were people lose their dialects?

@yeehaw The point of this scene is to show how f up the relationship is and how mentally unstable Korishima us. Also the girl is not bothered so get over it or stop bloody watching the stupid Yakuza Romeo and Julie crap.
