I feel like it should be noted that the game was originally announced to have English but after the years of delays, all references to the original English version were completely wiped from existence. The tweet in 2019 linking to the language pages even still exists: https://twitter.com/VisualArtsUSA/status/1200244950438301697 but the pages themselves were deleted in 2019 when it was delayed to 2020. Basically this was always planned to be a global game but clearly the delays caused a lot of issues

I first saw of the game's EN X/Twitter page back when it was locked.

That was where I wondered if Heaven Burns Red was really getting an English release until there came the confirmation.

Ha, they even advertised the controversial anime's!

But still, cool! This definitely feels like a change of pace for Maeda. Reminds me of Blue Reflection.

clutches charlotte merchandise that's a funny way to say terrible anime that somehow has an even worse ending charlotte for no reason unlike charlotte!

I like the guy, I hope for the best for him but he is Absolutely the GRR Martian of anime.
He writes at best extremely messy anime that work even though they shouldn't (angel beats) *kisses angel figure good night*
then you get charlotte, which is very hit or miss, and then the thing thing that shall not be named for its crimes against writing and disabled people.

I gave The Day I Became a God a 10/10. Loved it.
