I have two of their smaller mugs for the Atelier series (because "barrel!"), they're really nice. AmiAmi sometimes offers them, the quality is great and they look good on a shelf.

Good to know the quality is nice, it's really tempting to buy these but I just promised myself I would stop buying so much merch, I hope they stay in stock for awhile.

Oh, that's a bummer. Don't find most anime merch appealing, but this actually seems pretty cool.

There's a number of proxy buying services if you're interested, you typically send them the URL and they buy the product before shipping it over at additional cost. The shipping and fees can add up pretty quickly at times though, so be ready to pay a good bit more depending on how hard it is to ship

That's an interesting idea; had no idea that sub-industry existed, but that makes sense -- thanks! That would probably work really well for certain other purchases, too -- I've had a hideous time even just making purely digital JP-language purchases, even at major corporations, in the past.

I've had good luck with both Tenso and Buyee (same company). With Tenso you're given a Japanese address and your name in Japanese and you can just go to any store and make an account and pay for it yourself and they'll ship it to you when it arrives at "your" address. Downside is payment issues can arise from card issuers or lack of Paypal support.
Buyee is a simplified service where you give them an web address to the item and they'll order it for you, you pay them instead of the store. Service fees are pretty low. Downside for both services is the cost of shipping from Japan has skyrocketed since 2020.

Tbh, for the prices they are asking, especially the $30+ shipping costs, you can find wood mugs and tankards somewhere else.
