I find it hard to believe that Reborn is more popular than Eyeshield over there, unless the latter title's starting to blow...

For what it's worth, these are both the latest volumes, which both came out on November 2... though that really doesn't affect the crux of your argument.

I just get annoyed when certain people on certain forums insinuate that certain series are slipping because they didn't even make the ranking at a time when they didn't have a new volume to rank. So, I guess this is more of a preemptive warning to those certain other individuals than anything else... Confused

Various mangas get #1, it would depend on the particular comptetition for the week. If 2006 is anything to go by, then there are a few mangas far ahead (as in roughly 2 million+ to 1 milion per volume and a greater number of high selling volumes) of it in manga sales.

if Naruto and One Piece (or Nana) came out on the same day, One Piece (or Nana) would've easily topped Naruto. However, I wonder which manga will get #1 if Naruto, Hunter X Hunter, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist come out on the same day.

I'm pretty sure Naruto would have the edge over Bleach and Hunter X Hunter at the very least. FMA, One Piece, and Nana would all probably have the obvious edge though. (assuming both One Piece and Nana came out on the same day as the others that is.)

No not really with HXH has outsold Naruto in the past though One Piece outsold HXH. I remember seeing those rankings on animeondvd.com manga forums section.

Eyeshield 21 is wonderful, but quite frankly, Reborn is kicking ass right now. It's consistently just under One Piece, Naruto, and Bleach, in terms of popularity, and sometimes it's even ranked above those 3 in Jump. Viz has a potentially decent sized hit on it's hands. I really hope they go bimonthly once they leave the comedy phase. All they need is one preview in SJ of the action parts and it would definitely win over some new readers. I can't wait for them to get up to the really good stuff (which won't be until next summer Sad ). It's an entertaining series already, but the action takes it from being good to REALLY great.

Well I wasn't saying that HXH had no chance of toping Naruto. I could definitely see it happen, but I just think Naruto in turn has a good chance to top HXH as well. The others are probably more untouchable though.

Uwasa no Midori-kun!! is a good series. I haven't read Bokukimi on the other hand. Probably going to start reading it now, since this caught my attention.
