Sounds very very interesting. I adore Noein so here's hoping this'll be another winner. Smile

This is very interesting news. I'm not quite sure what they mean by "hard-boiled Sci-Fi" but I do like the team so far involved. Hopefully, this will be one of Xebec's top animation team projects.

I am going to watch it because of the Noein script writer (because Noein was awesome) but hearing the involvement of Xebec and Gelade director and seeing the characters makes me keep my expectations low.

For those who are wondering: (I was)
"Hardboiled fiction, most commonly associated with detective stories, is distinguished by an unsentimental portrayal of crime, violence, and sex." - Wikipedia

Hmm, I'm still watching Noein (I need to get the last volume) and have greatly enjoyed it so far. I'll have to check this one out.

The director of Elemental Gelade? That information alone would want me to avoid this new anime.
I know that the content with which he was working with in Gelade was really bad, so maybe I should give him the benefit of the doubt. Not even Martin Scorsese could do anything with that mess.
Noein was a great anime series. So the involvement of its script writer may give the director an extremely better source of material to work with.
