Glad to see something new on AZN!
The past few months it's been an endless cycle of The World of Narue, Legend of Himiko, and once and a while Patlabor. Not to mention I love steampunk. |

Pretty much my sentiments exactly. Seriously, how much Battle Arena Toshinden and Ayane's High Kick can one newtwork run? Anyways, if this is a sign that AZN is trying to revert back to its better days when it was still the International Channel, then I'm all for it. |

I never got a chance to see this on G4 so this is good news to me. Pretty cool that something that was on G4 is going to be on another channel.

I can't remember. Does AZN air commercials? My one complaint when Tech TV aired Last Exilewas that they butchered the show by cramming 3-4 commercial breaks into every episode.

Yeah AZN airs commercials, I forget though how often their commercial slots are.

They do edit for language and other "bad" content but I don't get the feeling they hack out room for extra commercials. Last Exile may be more expensive than the other series AZN plays so they _could_ stuff it full of ads. Hope not, looking forward to seeing this one. |

Hmmm...I'm thinking of what they could possibly cut, and I can't think of much aside from roughly a half minute total of innuendo throughout the series without significantly altering either one or two major characters or a good chunk of the story. I really can't think of anything gratuitous. The scenes that are difficult to watch are there for a reason, and I can't think of a scrap that could be brushed over without diluting the story's power. I also can't really think of much filler, because the episodes that seem like they might be turn out to be character development once it all comes together in the end. Anyways, congratulations and hope you all enjoy! |

Wasn't Tenjo Tenge also going to be on AZN tv also? I can't remember what channel that was. Anyone know the channel and air date?

FUSE tv is airing Tenjou Tenge and Ergo Proxy every friday at 12:00/11:00 central. They have shown the first 2 episodes of each so far. |

How has those been concerning cuts/edits? It still seems strange that FUSE is airing anime, but I guess there might be some crossover. As for Last Exile I really like it this show, it's one of those shows creates this world that is so amazing and large and after the first two volumes I really fell in love with Last Exile. I always feel like it doesn't get enough credit considering how good this show is but the encyclopedia has it rated (Bayesian estimate) number 42. |

This is one of those rare shows that I enjoyed so much that I showed it to my non-fan roommates. This also allowed me to watch it in English as well, so I could compare the dub which Last Exiles fares well. This is a great series for AZN since the viewership contains many non-anime fans, especially compared to IATV in my opinion where otaku fare Kyo Kara Maoh, Orguss, and Elemental Gelade are at home. I'm currently showing my roommates Ergo Proxy which also has an appeal to non-anime fans.

I've never seen the subs so not really sure what they have edited, if any. |

That'll be 5:30 PM PST since they apparently don't do a west coast feed.
Checking my TiVo it doesn't have any info on it yet, it's still saying that they'll be showing Narue. I'm trusting the AZN website this time though since TiVo's content provider for programming information is often unreliable. |
