;_____; I desperately, desperately, desperately want to see this movie. Ever since I saw the trailer, I've been champing at the bit to see this.

I'd bet Buena Vista / Disney might take it like how they got Ghibli's movies. |

Sakechan: You're in luck.
dormcat: Why would Di$ney want it? How would they market it? "From the director who was almost behind Howl's Moving Castle, but couldn't get the job, because Miyazaki hates Digimon"? The Kadokawa connection makes me think FUNimation's gonna get it, but they might try to distribute it themselves to bank on an Oscar, before selling it to a distributor. |

dormcat: Yeah, but that's Disney of Japan. They also had the distribution rights to Innocence, but it ended up here with Dreamworks. (And hopefully Manga, after that Paramount buy-out.)

Woah, that's great! And I haven't been to the Egyptian theater yet, either. I'm so there. I can care less who distributes TokiKake, so long as I get to see it on film and then get a high-quality DVD release. Between this, Tekkon and Paprika, I'm going to be one very satisfied girl this coming year. |

Cloe: Pro-tip: You can get tixx a month early, but you have to be at the box office half an hour before showtime.

I'm going to be seeing this at its North American premiere in New York in two weeks, and I am totally, totally stoked for it.
Seriously, it's been awhile since I've seen something truly awesome, and it looks like this thing is going to fit the bill. |
