I'm noticed that Ritsu is MIA on new visual. Since I don't read manga and I've heard that Ritsu won't be appear in season 2 at all. Is it true? A bit sad that Ritsu is so irrelevant.

The amount of appearances Ritsu makes in the original manga can be counted on one hand. Though since Takaya is more heavily involved with the anime this time around, he could make some extra appearances (his relationship with Mitsuru was expanded quite a bit more in the first season) and Takaya has said she meant to do more with Ritsu but never found a way to fit that into the story. So we'll just have to wait and see. Looking forward to more Fruits Basket! |

"Fruits Basket 1st season" was one of the best anime last year and I have no doubt "Fruits Basket 2nd season" will be just as good or better. Super excited!
