Yeah I know what your saying, I wonder what it said part way through the trailer. That trailer seemed to show a lot but hardly told us anything about the show.....is it action, romance, Mech, DBZ, I mean what is this series about?
Till next time,

hate to be a dirtbag but that looked absoultly terrible. Much like half the crap Gonzo produces these days. I perfer kyoto or Gainax, hell even bones and mad house.

It looks like it might be a psychological and/or horror flick. Can't really tell.
Oh wait, I have the newest issue of Newtype USA here! Duh!
Newtype USA Sept. 06 issue says:
Quote: | The new tv anime Red Garden is coming to Japanese airwaves this fall, helmed by Ko Matsuo [Rozen Maiden] and produced by GONZO [Last Exile].
Strange and mysterious things have been happening in New York City. Classmates Kate, Rachel, Claire and Rose just learned that they're dead. The 17-year-olds lost their lives in some sort of mishap, but they weren't aware of their situation until two strange people appeared out of nowhere and told them. Fortunately, there's a way for them to go on living almost like before, but there's a catch--they have to be vampires.
Red Garden addresses the value of being alive and the importance of the everyday as it follows Kate, Rachel, Claire and Rose in their attempt to balance their daytime lives as high school students with their nighttime lives as vampires. The girls grapple with issues of life and death, and they might just learn something along the way... |
**Edit - stupid spellcheck/grammar check missed two BIG mistakes And I'm not that bright either apparently!**

So it's a comedy? Or is it slice of life? I still can't tell but I like Gonzo work for the most part so I am probably going to check out the first episode to see what it's about.

I don't think that this is going to be a comedy. That was some beautiful dramatic music playing. Like what I was hearing in Gilgamesh. I'm expecting something dark.
The manga is seinen according to a "known Fansub Distribution website".

Well, the trailer did nothing for me (though I liked the music), but the description posted by LydiaDianne sounds intriguing enough to check it out. It's a Gonzo show and the vampire thing is in for anime, so I have no doubt that it will be licensed.
