Well, not unexpected. There was no way Kalafina was going to continue with only one member left. Hope all the members find new opportunities and get to shine elsewhere.
Thanks, Kalafina, for the memories! |

I am unsubscribing their YT channel (even though its region blocked by SMEJ).

Not a surprise, but still a sad day for anime music. Makes me all the happier that I got to see them live a few years back at Anime Central.

That's really too bad. Their voices were, to me, divine. Things have sprinted to their conclusion, and the dissolution is complete. I watch them walk into their future like Mikiya staring at Void Shiki standing in the snow; I wish them well in their endeavors.

The rational decision. Kalafina is pretty much nothing without Yuki Kajiura.

Oh, somehow I thought that it had already disbanded...

Wow. It happens. I wish them the best on their own personal endeavors.

Understandable considering it was a three person group that lost two members. |

Things aren't the same for Kalafina without Yuki Kajiura, so I figured this was a possible scenario.

Disappointed but not surprised, given the departure of so many members recently. I hope they all continue to have success, though they have gone their separate ways.

Never actually met Hikaru, Keiko and Wakana but did see them live in Japan. Hopefully they are doing alright whatever they are doing.
PS, see also the messages here on Yuki Kajiura's official web site: http://fictionjunction.com/kalafina20190314/ |

Sad to see but not surprising sadly. At least all the music they've done so far will still be out there and I'll be able to listen to it and remember fondly.
