Curious how Funimation responds. Don't expect them go as far as to re-dub Broly in the movie, but wonder what action they take in Broly's appearances after. Even Viz has him in their Jojo Part 4 dub as Rohan. Unless they finished his parts already.

He was a member of that cast?

I don’t even dislike RWBY, I just don’t follow the actors of it.

He was Qrow, the main characters Uncle. He started out fairly minor but became a main around Volume 4. So yeah losing Vic is kind of a hit, since Qrow is also a pretty popular character.

They'll either kill him next volume or just recast him.

How bad is it in the VA industry that Kaplan couldn't tell Vic not to mount him like WTF. At the same time I don't feel bad for Kaplan he would rather be treated
Like crap than speak up. By the way I don't condone Vic Mignogna for his behavior.

Really? D.C. Douglas? That guy filmed women going to the bathroom in a public restroom. I don't want to hear any moral grandstanding from that dude.

Neil Kaplan's take was just... a piggy back ride? Seems a bit of gasping at straws now.

Doesn't matter its video proof of unwanted attention and is what matters in this situation.

It's almost like Kaplan was concerned about his career and did not trust Vic to be a professional about it and not abuse his station. He made a call just like everyone else who has a story about someone with power abusing said power because he did not believe he was in a position where his voice mattered.

Anyway, Kaplan's story is by far the worst and he was VERY frank about his feelings toward Vic, even calling out Vic's apology as "crocodile tears." And it's very clear that the cracks are showing with more VAs giving their opinions in either subtle or frank manners. This is no longer a story that can be swept under the floor

Honestly I watch anime dubbed but actually dont usually pay attention to the casts. I only know the Big VAs along the lines of Johnny Yong Bosch, Bryce Papenbrook, and so forth and Vic is that class of recognizable VAs. I didn't recognize any of these VAs in the article other than Monica, Stepanie, and Caitlin. I only know them because of Dragonball, Your Name, and Full Metal Alchemist. I still dont think Funimation will necessarily release a statement anytime soon. They dont need since they release dozens of shows a year, with Vic only being in a few. While RTs only has a handful of shows with him being one of the most prominent VAs they use. It makes more sense they would have already reacted to the news.
