i was just on bottorrent, and someone just posted a game of Serial Experiments Lain for the PSX. anyone heard of this, or know what it's about exactly?

It was released in Japan, but it was never brought over here. Don't know anything about the plot, but it would be really interesting to play a video game based on SEL.

How would a Lain game work? Was it a point-and-click like the Castle of Cagliostro game or did it take one element from the series and turn that into a game a la the PS1 Cowboy Bebop game?

I was told that it wasn't really a game, just some weird... explore Lain's computer type thing.

I believe it was as you say and as the other person said a point and click. ALso a hard to find full color manga is out. I want the boxset of dvds!!!!!!!!!

I have it.
It's basically a "interactive" comic book with 1-2 short animated sequences.
Not essential, especially if you don't speak Japanese. Most of the art from the game came from the series and the unique images were reprinted in a mook with all the game art...
I forget the exact title...
