So much for a US album in May. I don't know exactly why it didn't happen, but I'd guess the recent departures of CEO Lyor Cohen and Senior VP Max Hole had an impact.
In the meantime, Utada has a new song on the upcoming Athens Olympics Album: "By Your Side," which was recorded in the US a couple of months ago. I think it's slated for a mid-July international release. |

 Still no release date announced, is there? I hear rumors that it's been pushed back to next fall, but they didn't list the sources.

Her official Island Records website hasn't changed since they put it up...however many months ago that was (9?)...

 man she puts britney and hell most of americas female stars to shame. I have alot of bootlegged live videos off of mtv japan and so on and have listened to a few of her japan cds I'd like one for sale here in the states like yuki kaijuras

*shrugs* as long as we get one here! I'm just waiting for the time when she's in tons of concerts over here so people can see how much talent people over there have..and how little talent we seem to have over here^^;; (not talking about all artists over here of course..)
btw..does anyone know what main song they're using for Kingdom Hearts2? I hope it's utada again... |
