Will that include a whole new dub cast as well then?

I'm surprised they'd go and redo the BC DVDs rather than finally put AD Police on DVD. Not that AD is that great in the first place, but it's one of the few titles that they haven't transfered to DVD yet.

I highly doubt that.

But wasn't that the one that they got slagged for, way back when?

Yup.
The BGC dubs heralds back to another era of the anime industry, a long long time ago... or so it seems, even though it was only 14 years ago.
Anyways, the BGC dub is quite bad by todays standards, and is one of the shinning examples of why fans always used the subtitles in the early 90s. But the market for this old title just isn't big enough to justify a new dub...

I actually prefer AD Police to Bubblegum Crisis, even if the tv show could've been better.

TV AD Police was lame... especially compared to the OVA series.
It's about time that AnimEigo release the OVA AD Police on dvd, though. It's about the only thing that I'm still waiting on....

Spoke to Animeigo about their plans for the AD Police Files:
