Does anyone know what this means are they just making a new anime or are they making more inuyasha?

No.
Toshifumi Yoshida worked on the US releases. He was at Viz from the start of their video division, and before that did work for LA Hero.

Now the penny has dropped. He worked on the translations of Inuyasha, but he didn't produce it in Japan. Doh! >.<
