Yeah, because they rarely kiss, its obviously immature. How exactly do you define a "good romance"? That will help us recommend something you will like.

If you haven't already read it, then Ichigo 100% is definitely one you should read. One thing I can definitely say is that it isn't immature

So an absolutely ridiculous amount of fan service in a melodramatic high school setting intended for young teenage males isn't immature? News to me.
I think that people are confusing "adult" and "risqué" content with "mature." I don't really care for that since having nudity and violence doesn't make a work of fiction "mature."
And it would be helpful to state what you're tastes are and what you're looking for since this is a recommendation thread, yanno.

Hmm... I would suggest Saikano as a good romance manga. A romance manga with the background story of war and destruction. I'm glad someone suggested for me to read it
Voices of a Distant Star is a nice short manga that I think was adapted from the movie? Not sure, but it's another one that's good IMO.

Ah My Goddess. All-around feel good romance series. And yes, there are some lip-lock scenes. Hubba Hubba.

Although I'm a little late to the party (fashionably late, I like to think) I highly recommend a manga called Marmalade Boy. It's friggin hilarious. But I'm not a big romance central person. I only read a romance manga about twice every year. I generally prefer the romance on the side in a story. Finally, I also recommend Honey and Clover.

Densha Otoko, specifically the Viz release, which in my humble opinion is by far the best. I really enjoyed the Del Rey release, but I felt that the Viz one went more in depth, and explored the characters more.
I second the recommendation of Marmalade Boy, I really enjoyed that one.

Red River isn't immature...if you read the first volume you would see that. Red River has "steamy situations" but also has a good story and plot.

I actually stopped with Red River because I was uncomfortable with how the romance is handled. I'm not a prude, but the sub/dom vibe bugged me a lot. Yes, I know that it's an Ancient culture. However, the way Kail constantly came onto Yuri was unsettling to me. It was even more unsettling that Yuri was supposed to feel bad for rejecting Kail's sexual advances, like what she was doing was bad. I kept going 'this is the couple I'm supposed to fall in love with? I liked the story, but when this situation is happening twice a volume I start feeling that it becomes inappropriate.
So what do you mean by mature romance? If you mean sexual romance... well I guess that counts as mature content. However, generally some of the best animanga romances don't have makeout content. Honestly, a couple not making out doesn't make them less mature. A lot of those choices come down to genre anyway.
My choice for a more mature romance is definitely Maison Ikkoku, but I'm biased towards it. It's an older work, and I'm not sure you'd like it if you're looking for the steamy romance of Red River. It's a story about two grown ups falling in love, and it's a classic.

The Devil Does exist is good. But its starts getting a soap opera feel to it. But I dont mind it. Maybe you wont either. I dunno. And it doesnt have fan service and other useless crap. If by mature you mean sex then you wont find it here.
Its about...I dont feel like typing the whole thing out so copy & paste to the rescue it is:
" Kayano's dad died several years ago. Her mom is dating and tells Kayano she is thinking of marrying a divorced man who has a son, and Kayano is happy for her. It turns out that this man is her school principal, and his son, Takeru, is a major troublemaker who turns Kayano's life upside down."

Ai Yori Aoshi comes to mind. It's pretty good, actually, but I can't say from first hand experience.

If you want romantic and funny.. I suggest Tail of the moon by Rikno Ueda...
Also Happy Hustle high...
From Far away....it is a good manga but I don't like the drawings very much. The summary is good though.
Oh and Meru Puri by Matsuri Hino...it is very princely with kingdoms e.t.c.

I suggest MARS. Although it is in the high school setting, I would say it is a "mature" romance manga. Although at the same time, there isn't much in the way of kissing and whatnot at first. It's still one heck of a story.
