This would have nothing to do with that, since this would be putting their videos up on a channel/service on Amazon Prime. Their website and app isn't needed for that, you'd just use the Prime app.

So this is just the same as CR is available on Prime Video. Not really that useful since I already have a HiDIVE subscription and I don't really like Amazon's video player.

Prime Video has so many issues with Crunchyroll, I fully expect them to be just as inept with Hidive.

In case anyone is interested in subscribing to Hidive through Amazon just know that through Amazon you don’t get access to all of Hidives library, so you’re essentially paying the same for a regular Hidive subscription for a bit less content.
