I'm not surprised this is getting an English simulpub. Akasaka has proven he's a hit maker with both Kaguya-sama and Oshi no Ko, so clearly Shueisha wanted to get in on this at the ground floor.

It's funny that this series get released online one week earlier in "the West" than in Japan, at least if it follows the same pattern as Oshi no ko: one week later in Jump+. That's why Manga Plus is geoblocked for Japan, guess.

Having read the first chapter, I have to say... I am definitely intrigued. Once again Aka sensei has crafted something that I am invested in finding out what happens.

I knew it. It's the artist behind Records of Ragnarok so of course it would go this way. As always Akasaka-sensei, you're a master of "the hook" and getting people invested after one chapter/arc.
